What is Herdspace?
Herdspace is an online advertising and discovery platform for the equestrian sector. We provide a space for sellers to list horses, ponies, properties, jobs, and vehicles, and for buyers to browse and connect with sellers directly.
How do I create an account?
Click the "Create Account" button on our homepage and follow the simple registration process. You'll need to provide your email address and create a password to get started.
Is Herdspace free to use?
Browsing listings on Herdspace is completely free. If you want to create an advert, there are listing fees that vary depending on the category. Please see our pricing page for more details.
Listing & Advertising
How do I create an advert?
Once logged in, navigate to "Create an Advert" from your dashboard. Select your category (Horses, Ponies, Properties, Jobs, or Vehicles), fill in the required details, upload your photos and videos, and proceed to payment.
How long will my advert be live?
Standard listings are live for 6 weeks. You can remove your advert at any time if your item sells before the listing expires.
Can I edit my advert after it's published?
Yes, you can edit your advert at any time from your dashboard. Simply navigate to "My Adverts", select the listing you want to edit, and make your changes.
What media can I include in my advert?
Each listing includes 3 photos and 3 videos (up to 1 minute each) at no extra cost. You can also add a YouTube link. Additional photos and videos can be added for £5 each.
Payments & Refunds
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards through our secure payment processor, Stripe.
Can I get a refund if I remove my advert early?
Once an advert is published, the service is deemed delivered and no refunds are issued. However, you are free to remove your listing at any time if your item sells.
Buying & Contacting Sellers
How do I contact a seller?
Each listing has a "Contact Seller" button. Click it to send a message directly to the seller via our platform.
Does Herdspace verify listings?
Herdspace is a platform only and does not verify the identity, ownership, or accuracy of listings. We strongly recommend conducting your own due diligence before making any purchase. Consider arranging viewings, requesting veterinary checks (for animals), and seeking professional advice where appropriate.
Account & Security
How do I reset my password?
Click "Login" and then "Forgot Password". Enter your email address and we'll send you instructions to reset your password.
How do I delete my account?
To delete your account, please contact our support team at hello@herdspace.co.uk. Please note that any active listings will be removed when your account is deleted.
Technical Support
I'm having trouble uploading images. What should I do?
Ensure your images are in JPG, PNG, or WebP format and under 10MB each. If problems persist, try clearing your browser cache or using a different browser.
